Church and chocolate eggs may be part of Easter everywhere. But in Ulladulla on the South Coast it also means festival time as Ulladulla comes alive for the annual Blessing of the Fleet Festival.

Parade Easter SundayThere will be a myriad of colourful and exciting events held throughout the Festival over the Easter weekend, the celebrations will be as impressive as ever, with the Festival Parade.

In 2012 the Festival have a near record number of 47 princesses who will all be showcased on the most wonderful imaginative floats, making it one of the biggest street parades in New South Wales.

Fireworks

FireworksThe sky over Ulladulla harbour will ablaze of light and colour for the Blessing of the Fleet firework display on Easter Sunday night at 6.30pm.

So find a spot for your deck chair or rug, bring the family and sit back & relax and enjoy the fantastic display, sponsored by the Ulladulla Fishermans Co-Op.

Childrens’ Activity World: Hearty Arty Party

Milton Ulladulla RotaryChildrens’ Activity World is at the Ulladulla Civic Centre, opening after the parade. Gold coin donation. Brought to the Festival by the Milton Ulladulla Rotary Club.

“Make sure all the children attend the “Hearty Arty Party”  -  It is a Pirate theme so come dressed up and really join in the fun.

Meet with the lady Pirates Meagan and Julia and all children can join in the fun with the following activities.

There will also some great Children’s Entertainment in the afternoon on the stage in the Civic Centre for the children.

This all makes for a great day for the kids.
