Festival Parade Don’t miss Ulladulla’s spectacular annual Blessing of the Fleet Festival on Easter Sunday 1 April 2018, one of the biggest festivals and parade on the South Coast.

11.30am: Milton Ulladulla ExServos Club Festival Parade Princes Highway and South Street

The Milton Ulladulla ExServos Club’s Blessing of the Fleet Parade starts at 11.30am, from Crescent St Ulladulla and the Princes Highway. St Peter the patron saint of the Fisherman will enter the parade at the Ulladulla Civic Centre. The parade continues south down the highway, turning into South Street  finishing up at the Ulladulla harbour wharf. So get in early to obtain your favourite parade spot.

Kids Zone

Kids should head indoors to the Civic Centre for some fun in the Kids’ Zone. Here there will be arts & craft activities, a lego corner and a visit to the face painter,  Arts & Crafts and Kinder-Gym

Also in the Kids Zone in the Civic Centre, children can join in the fun with drawing, colouring in, cutting, pasting.

They can try their skills in the Kinder Gym (gold coin donation), play with the thousands of pieces of lego and have their face painted.

Live Wire Studios performing interactive show in  Kids Zone 1pm
Livewire Studios present ‘An Eggstremely Eggcelent Adventure’, an interactive show for children of all ages featuring singing, dancing, magic, puppetry, and eggstreme  silliness. Lulu and Dotty need your help as they journey to the centre of the labyrinth to find the golden egg and rescue the Easter Bunny. On the way, they’ll battle evil magicians and creatures, and meet strange and mysterious characters on their own adventures.

Kingdog and the Catz – Civic Centre Grounds 1pm – 3pm
Influenced by artists such as Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Frank Zappa and Bob Dylan, KINGDOG & THE CATZ uniquely blend the genres of Funk,Folk and Soul. The bands energetic live performances, consisting of catchy songs, infectious vibes and enthusiastic dance floors has them currently making a name for themselves.

Bannister’s Hotels Apex Beach Games

Greasy PoleEnjoy the Bannisters Mollymook APEX Beach Games with lots of FREE games and activities for the kids including Football Pass, Egg & spoon races, Sack Races and the famous Thong toss, Greasy Pole and Tug-o-war. And back is the Spaghetti Eating Competition. It takes strength, agility and sheer determination to make it to the top without the aids of ropes, belts etc. It also takes a good sense of humor to fall into a heap at the bottom covered in grease.

Team spirit will be the emphasis, when the battle lines are drawn in the sand for the Tug-o-war, open to both men and women and why not support your friends on the cheer squad. So join in on all the fun with friends, register your team for the greasy pole and the tug-o-war with the Apex Club at the beach games area from 1.30pm on Easter Sunday. There will also be lots of other activities with Football Pass and Painting Easter Shapes, Egg & spoon races, Sack Races and that Thong toss.
